DAWN AND DUSK OF AN IITIAN - PART 2
23rd May, 2011
Time changes and so do people and their thoughts. I am no different. Currently enrolled in my 3rd year at the Indian Institute of Technology, I have had some wonderful experiences here and grown a lot as a person. Atleast I am a 7 pointer now, I am happy about this fact. The journey from 5 to 7 ain’t tough. I barely studied or put hard efforts. Its just that when you see people around you doing what you wanted to do, you have this die hard urge to watch them and atleast make an attempt. That explains all. So thanks to my friends Himani, Aman, Sunanda, Raji who have always been there for me….Thanks to TAG he made intern at TCS a probability to a possibility. I am learning something through it. Well I am still blank about the future and what interests I would like to pursue. nothing much has changed in the past year. So that still brings me back to the dusk part. Dawn is a dream perhaps. All I remember about my IIT life in 2011 is the Dannish people we dined with, the evening walks with a friend to the water tank at Mandi, birthday bash, laughing our ass off for practically useless reasons, but it was fun. And I do remember the monsoon of August when our hostels flooded and we made boats, played wi the water, sang----brought back old childhood days. The most important, I am in a new room now with new roomies, the best decision I made in the past year. Living with my ex-roomy was a disaster no doubt. The best part being the times we spend together selecting party dresses for hours together and then the room is so girly and messy, I love that. ofcourse it was a year of interns, projects that led to an E grade, learning and re-inventing German, organizing things at hostel (hostel day, diwali) , not to mention rule-breaking dj nites with fines to pay, dance to core and a lot more.
